Malitbog River - “Gift of Nature”



          Viewing the clean river in Malitbog Bukidnon is an enduring source of inspiration. Such a never ending panoramic landscape. Contour lines of solid rock formation naturally curved. Attractive view of verdant hills and lush vegetation are suitable habitat for endemic flora and fauna. Patches of cultivation and pristine forest enhance the idyllic scenery with refreshing ambiance.


Malitbog River-virtually the namesake of this Municipality is topographically classified under the sub-watershed Tagoloan, traversing across the progressive seven (7) barangay: Kiabo, San Luis, Mindagat, Poblacion, Omagling, Kalingking and Sta. Inez; emptying towards Tagoloan River.  Verdant Watershed occupying an estimated area, 11,047 has. Water body has approximately 64 meters wide with bank easement allowance - 3 meters both sides and having clear water observable though 12 inches depth from the water surface.
