Such spectacular vista:
Pigsugu-an Hills, a scenery nestled on a hilltop to an elevation of
approximately 540 meters above sea level. Accessible by any means of
transportation passing through a breathtaking Ridges. Trekking to the
Pigsugu-an Heights cause adrenalin surge. Unwittingly, such thrilling
experience indelibly etched a lasting episode. It has a distance about six (6)
kilometers away from the Municipal Hall.
“Pigsugu-an”
a word coined by the nomadic tribes and early settlers so called avid hunters
of wild animals. The place literally denotes a wild (Pig); while dinugu-(An)
simply implies delicious foods prepared through verbal orders (sugu) by
the tribal villagers. Thus, Pigsugu-an now known as “Pigsugu-an
Hills”, a derivative term connoting blood of a pig – native recipe.
A
wide array of verdant hilly ranges and deep ravines seemingly arranged in
symmetrical position lying towards the offing seashore. Steep contour lines
casting shadows shadows upon the hillsides and silhouettes of ephemeral clouds
crossing the borders; eventually shaped as kaleidoscopic spectrum of varying
colors. Behold! A flawless beauty of nature – beyong human comprehension.
